got this lil female a while back it was in a tank with a mix of everything that my fish guy gets in on trade an sells for 5 bucks,
there was 10 diff batches of fry in with it an it was the only one that looked like this no outherer were shortbodys
or faders..pic is a lil old she is biger an has more red on her i would think shortbody fader but wanna have u guys look at it, red tex?lol
i never asked what it was cuz i got it cheap an dident want the dumb worker to ask his boss what it was lol

Looks to be short-bodied and a hybrid...cannot tell for sure what it is though

its pelvic fin looks like those of a blood parrot cichlid

If your willing to start a little project get a male texas and a female red blood parrot . Breed the texas to your SB RT(what I think your fish is) and also to the Blood parrot. Grow out some fry from the texas X RT, choose the best ones and cull the rest and do the same with the Texas X BP. Then breed the best male from the Texas X RT to the best female Texas BP. Then choose the best and cull the rest.

This is all assuming your fish is female and you have the resources to do so.

Do whatever you want really, its your fish
