No that is not a pumpkinseed. The mouth is too large for a pumpkinseed. This sunfish has two black spots in both anal and dorsal fins, something that pumpkinseed do not have. No red spot on the ear of this sunfish where the pumpkinseed has a red spot on the ear. This sunfish has white edges on the fins where the pumpkinseed do not have. What you have is a green sunfish.

I'm with him on this, white tipped fins, black spots on anal and dorsal fin, looks just like the one I had a few weeks ago.

Meanest fish in my tank. He's got 3 times the appetite of the rest of the fish and, despite being smaller, will straight up run stuff.
