I have been questionitive of this fish sense I picked it up, hasn't really grown too much yet. It was kinda a save the fish from the store. I really liked it because it had a very dark coloration even with being beaten up.

Thats what I was leaning towards even though they had been sold to me as texas...just was never sure because they are so small and I couldn't ID them.
hey looks like she got quite the beating.its ok though,i have a jack dempsey that got beaten worse than that and shes just fine(not really,shes missing her tail and a gill cover,but shes all healed up)and has a mate and everything.
