Can someone please tell me what this pike is i bought 2 that are supposed to be saxtillis but this one looks nothing like the other one.

You say it looks nothing like the other one. Did you buy the other one? If so, it's more than likely not a Cr. saxitilis either but rather a Cr. sveni.

The scientific name is crenicichla sp. bellycrawler. Yer other one is probably a sveni. Bellycrawlers arent saxitillis or lugubris pikes but are from a group called reticulata. How big is that guy of yours? Ive got a couple of females that would go great with him.

Yes i bought 2 of them.

That ones around 6"
This is the other one also bought as saxtillis this one is at 10" they bothe came out of the same tank.These are the only pics i have its hard to get pics of this guy.

Yup, the second fish is most definitely Cr. sveni. It is in the saxitilis group but not a Cr. saxitilis pike specifically. It is a male as well.
 
Sharp looking fish bro. The bcrawler looks a little haggard but still healthy.

Yeah that pic was taken a day after i moved them to a new tank.:)
