Just picked these little guys up, don't have a clue as to what they are and I'm pretty sure they aren't what I was told they were. Anyway.. they are pushing 1", and I'm not referring to the dovii..

Well.. I was told they were baby jags, I didn't think they were due to the color but like I said I've never seen one at 1" or smaller. So I picked them up. For $3 each it was worth the gamble.

I've never kept a JD although my brother had one that was around 6" and it seemed ok. Are they fun to keep or should I take them back?

While having one before i knew what i was doing years ago, there's only one way to find out. Grow them out and see! The can look amazing that i know for sure. Good luck with them!

Jack dempsey's are awesome fish, just not very hard to find. I love the look of big males though!
