I have 4 albinos, about 7" each; they have a very huge appetite of food, and I mean all food; Compare to the rest of the bichirs in the tank, the albinos are the one with the most appetite. They would even come around when I want to give them food. In fact, they would be the one who recognize food when I drop it in the tank, and always be the one to eat first.
Once, I put my hand in the tank holding a feeder, and one of the albino snap it like it was starved for years; once also, I tried to hand feed the senegal, but the albino came over, then I pushed the albino away, but the albino came again, ..., cool huh....
so far they've gotten fatter ever since I bought them, I hope they dont die from eating too much, lol,
the good think is the albinos are not too fuzzy with food, unlike my ornate....
