I know rummies & cardinals have been widely suggested. & of course, more discus the better together.

but can someone help with making a list of all fish including plecos/cats/otos, etc. for both compatibility & temperature tolerance?

along with the pros & cons of the togetherness with that fish.

ex. I have kept angels in the past with discus, but this go around I couldn't because my angels were too fast too aggressive during feeding time & grew so much faster.

thx all.

I've kept bristlenose plecos, otos, clown loaches, cardinal tetras with discus in planted tanks. For the most part, you are better off keeping discus separate from other fish. The reason is you can have much better control over water quality. This is very important if you want quality, healthy discus.

cardinals, Corydoras sterbai, bristlenoses, L134, pencilfish, penguin tetras, glowlights, Amazon puffers, black ghost knife fish. Kept all of them with discus no problems.

Your selection of tank mates is much broader with adult discus then with juveniles.

You can keep black arowana with adult discus.
