what are danios ? looking for bala sharks

any one post picks of danios, plus anyone know where i can get bala sharks ?

Danios are small Cyprinids. Balas are large Cyprinids. They are available at 99.9% of all fish stores.

Both originate in Asia and both belong to the minnow/carp family (cyprinids). Most danios stay small, under 4" while the bala can get over a foot. Some danios are very common while others are not. Zebra danios and giant danios are both commonly found in LFS. Both prefer to live in shoals.

Or go to my house. I have a very busy tank with Balas and Giant Danios. At the bottom I have some very nice CA cichlids growing though
