There's a wealth of info on this forum if you just take the time to browse around, it's a neverending learning process but its rewards are many.

The one thing that will always annoy me on forums is how many answered questions keep re-appearing. It shows lack of patience and research & those traits will translate negatively over to SW keeping.

Don't take it personally, it's just a common annoyance that will always be there. How can so many people starve to death sitting in front of a full plate??

Stop stealing my thoughts! I can see I'm going have to start wearing my tinfoil hat again. :nilly:

Or, I guess I could just say, "I totally agree." :D

my best advise for you would be to decide the style of tank you want to have. reef with lots of corals and inverts, or fish only. the first is and can be a big and expensive investment as to do it right you have to have the right equipment and time for chemicals and maitance. wer fish only is a little less involved. both are a jow to keep and i can assure you if you like fresh water you will love salt and it will become a very bad addiction, lol. i have both fish only and a reef setup, i will say my reef setup hurts the bank, but i can spend hours stareing at it and still find somthing i never knew was there or just simply didnt notice. good luck!

Another great bit of info I can give you is find someone experienced you trust that has helped you succeed in the past and go with his recommendations and if he is stumped he should be able to point you to the person with the right information.
