What are some of the most aggressive catfish? Some people mistook predatory and aggression that they're the same. I'm only talking about aggression here. Some of the most aggressive catfish, I think is Asian Redtail Catfish, giant goonch, wallago and wallagonia. What about you guys? What are some of the most aggressive catfish in your experiences or opinions? Do you think the ones I mentioned above deserved the infamous reputation of aggression?

If you don't equate size (what they can swallow) with aggression, I would say that Hemibagrus wyckii, sometimes called the crystal-eyed catfish or black devil catfish is about the meanest, baddest catfish out there.

Yep, I'm talking purely about aggression, not predatory.

If your talking aggression then the most aggressive family I have come across in 45 years are hemibagrus, although Zungaro come close. Red tails are not agressive, neither are Goonch, Wallago or wallagonia, all are quite placid catfish which will happily cohabit with other catfish and their own family and type.
Wykii are really aggressive in confined spaces, as are wickiodes. Nemurus and filamentus can be agressive but not too bad. Jelly cats hate their own type and anything they can eat but not really aggressive to bigger fish, whereas in small tanks hemibagrus will just attack for fun, especially h. Variagatus, even vs Zungaro.
Some bumblebee cats can be aggressive but their size limits their impact.
