What are sticky threads?

Sticky threads (found at the top of every forum main listing page) are those threads that do not cycle down to the next pages by newly written threads or by post responses to existing threads. Due to the importance of the information contained in a sticky, these threads always remain on the main page for quicker availability and access by members.
