1.Peacock Bass
2.Emperor Cichlid
3.Dovii
4.Umbii
5.Venezulan Pike
6.Black Belt
7.Jaguar
at this point, there are alot new world ciclids in the 12 to 15 inch range.

There are also many other cichlids that surpass the 15 inch range, lots of open water African Cichlids, talapia as well and multiple pikes and other new world cichlids that hit this range as well. Thats the best I have for now.

Oh, I forgot to say, the first two are debatable because some say Emp's get larger then Pcocks, but Trems are know to top 36 inches according to some. I myself believe it is a toss up with exceptions on both sides.

id have to agree on that although id say emperors take it..and idk some say doviis get up to 30-36 in the wild..

How about male Festae? Don't they get bigger than 16-18"? Up to 20" in the wild? I've never seen one but I've heard they have the capability to.

Your right, Festea are suppose to get to 20 inches, and yes, Dovii, I have heard that Dovii can reach lenghts of 36 inches in the wild, I dont know if that is confirmed, but there are confirmed species of Pcocks and Emps above the three foot size.

Red Bay snooks get pretty long, though not chunky. The biggest I've seen a dovii is about 28". Was a while back on some Brazilian website.

Thanks for the list. I guess I need to have a sit down with my Jack Dempsey and tell him to quit picking on that Jag so hard bc one day he's gonna be a lot bigger than you!!

Many of the Vieja get huge. I personally had a 16 inch pearsei. Don't forget the TILAPIAS!!!!!!! either
