My 10 gallon with 2 3-4" convicts with 10 or 15 1/4" fry got a huge crack in it and I don't want to risk a leak, so would they kill a 3-4" senegal bichir and two 3.5" opaline gouramis?

Probally. Convicts are pretty tough cookies.

Convicts will prolly take over teh tank and start stressing everything else until it dies. short term it might work.. but I wouldn't do it for more 'n a few days.
