[h=2]What are the Differences between keeping Male or Female Red Devils at single Wet Pets[/h]
Hello Everyone!
first let me start by saying I am new to this forum, and I'm glad I've finally joined the MFK forums community!
My first question here is regarding my 75 gallon aquarium. After keeping and breeding many different species of south and central american cichlids, I've decided I want to have this tank be home to a single "Wet Pet". The Amphilophus Labiatus was my first obvious choice. I've been told that a female Red Devil would be great for a single inhabitant in this size tank, and that a male is also an option (but female would fit better i suppose). But aside from that, I'm very curious about whether it is more interesting to keep a male red devil over a female? Will females be as personable and "owner interactive" as a male red devil will be? Would a single female be more skittish than a single Male, or would neither be skittish? I would just love some info about this and any and all opinions are welcome!
Thanks guys,
Chris
