me finding a used 125 or 150 on here around the DC area and what are the usual prices. Im going to be needed one in a few months but dont have the cash to drop $600

Just watch craigslist. I got a 125gal, stand and sump for $400 in atlanta. Cant see why you wouldnt be able to do that in DC.
