What are the rules to breeding bgjd or ebjd

I want to do a pair are the female electric blues sterile or the males I am ordering 1 ebjd and 2 bgjd what are the rules

Neither are sterile. It's is just often the case where EBJD x EBJD offspring are very weak and don't live long.

As far as EBJD x BGJD, it is recommended the female be the BGJD because normal jacks are more aggressive than the electric jacks. A female will be less aggressive than normal jacks while a male would be more aggressive than normal electric jacks so that the aggression difference is much closer between parents. Doing this pairing will result in 50% blue gene jacks and 50% electric jacks.

I meant aggression between the pair. Females are less brutal of the normals and blue genes while males are more aggressive of the electrics, so the aggression they give back and forth will be more closely matched.

I'm gonna get them at fry 1 ebjd and 2 bgjd so all I can do is hope I do have a divider if the male does get rough with the female I will also add dithers

might want to offset your purchases since the EBjd seem to grow a bit slower then those Bgjd

Maybe you will get 3 Females, or 3 Males......
That's the kind of luck i have.....

i would grow the Ebjd out to around 3 inches or so on brine shrimps then order 6 ebjd and hope for a female =) good luck
