Hi i just started a new tank, it is cycled with fish. I bought some new rocks and there were these corals and other living thing on it.
I have no idea what they are and is not sure they are good or bad.
One of it looks like aiptasia which i know is bad, but I am not exactly sure if it is.
If someone can just tell me the names or what it is and if its bad or not.. I can do my own research once I know their names.

theres a bunch of these ones

there are a few of these things on the rocks. They look and feel like sand building up shaped as strings and ropes on the rocks stretching 1-2 inches and in one big blob like this one shown in the picture. When i touch it, it falls off like sand, except the ones actually on the surface of the rock which is kind of tuff

these all came from a tank with metal hallide lighting for idk how long (i assume 5-10 hours a day) and few fish/crabs/snails. They are alive. It was just a 75 tank stacked with rocks.. about 200+ lbs. Owners fed grinded salmon and fish.

The pieces shown are now in my 100 gallon tank with proper filtration and no overfeeding.

1 zoanthid
2 & 3 Colt coral or tree coral
4 button polyps or palyotha
5 clove polyps
6 Hard to see the detail in that pic. Either colonial tunicates or sponge. A good close-up would help.
7 It does look like aiptasia.
8 Those look like casings of a type of worm. Usually harmless. Again, sharper photo would help.

Doesn't really look like an aiptasia to me... but the picture is so blury it's really really hard to tell. But judging from the tenticals? feelers? w/e they are reffered to as... they appear much to short/blunt to me, also technically Aiptasia isn't a bad thing litterally... they just spread like weeds if there is enough to eat.

so is this a kenya tree?

aptasia? And yes i understand they help clean or eat extra food, but i meant bad as for other corals, I am not raising a reef so it wont be bad for me
