what are these flowery things on my glass?

ok...i need some help...what are these flower looking white things on my glass and rocks? they are very teeny tiny and whitish to clear. they are everywhere...how do i get rid of them? what are they? are they bad?

Agreed. It's some sort of algae. Clean the walls and decorations.

Got a pic? Do they look like they have tenticles? Could have hydras in your tank.

Too bad my crappy phone can't take a clear pic, it's just way too small & transparent...
I was thinking probably a layer of slime/beneficial bacteria? It's there every week after few days of tank cleaning..
