Just came back from a week away and noticed this on my Pantsno cichlid had these growths around his eye. He's 4 years old, never had any major problems and otherwise seems healthy. Any ideas?

It could be due to lymphocytosis, or could be an injury that got infected.
What tankmates does it have? Any sharp objects?

Looks like lymphocystis.

Looks like nothing to do but wait it out and decent chance it heals on it own. Correct?

Yes - lympho usually stops on its own given the root issue has been corrected for (usually an issue of diet, water quality, or some other stressor).
