I know you need another id question like you need a hole in your head but these were labeled as histrix but it's too faded for me to even begin to guess. Its the only pic I have from them as well. Thank you. I do try to keep them at a minimum.

That's a fair price IMO , hystrix are somewhat hard to come by

They certainly look like true Hystrix to me.
I'd pay it.
Before you do, start asking questions,
Are they feeding and on what.
Assuming must be wild caught, have they been treated for parasites.
From that pic they don't look to skinny

Those are Brazilian hystrix. I would ask if they are eating. Guessing those are wild caught, ask what size they are. $250 is fair depending on size.
