What are these spots?

I was looking at some old pics and i found some photos of my old pups. I noticed they al have some "spots" or markings between their original spots. What are they? Do they disappear when then the rays get older? Both parents where motoros.

My ray has had them for about a year and nothing is wrong with him so i wouldnt worry.

I just read the thread about the spots. So nobody knows exactly what is is?

I think its strange that they are mostly seen on young motoros and retic (males?).

think thats why the collective idea is growth spots... well in a few months updates us on the ray or if they change then we can all have a better idea
