What are these things?

Hey all,
A few years ago I was snorkeling in St. Thomas and came across a group of these things and I have no idea what they are. I think they would look awesome in an aquarium though! They were light in color and then as I approached and got closer they turned a dark color. They look like a cuttlefish but they look like they only have 2 tentacles. Anyone have any idea what these things are?

looks like cuttlefish...

they are best grilled, sauteed, or even deep fried.

haha, I could have probably grabbed them if I tried. It would have made for an interesting plane ride and trip through customs, haha. I also didn't have a tank til about 2 years after this trip. I was also a couple feet from a barracuda and was having staring contest with him, haha, that would have been awesome for a tank.
