I have these thin worms swimming around in my tank. When I was doing a water change I caught one and put it in a glass bowl. It is 1'' long some are longer some are smaller but thread thin. When they are on the ground they crawl and move their upper body. When they want to get somewhere very quickly they move their entire body very quickly and can swim kind of lke an eel but very quick back and fort. Not to be wierd but kind of like a sperm. They swim very violently with their entire body and can move pretty quickly. They look white in the tank but are actually pink when I put it in the bowl.

Anybody ever have these or know how to get rid of them? Harmful of not?

Ive had them before, sometimes because of overfeeding. So that's what Ive heard. Maybe someone else knows more to tell if there a parasite or not.

I had hundreds of these swimming at the top of my bucket after a water change. It was disgusting the surface was moving. My fish still all look healthy and my severum is eating them hopefully they are not too bad.
