I just got these from a friend and they're called red berries here but i know it's some type of cichlid but i can't find they're scientific name
They may be hybrids but i doubt it as they have been present in our rivers as long as i can remember
So could someone Id them :nilly:

What means this? Where are you located?

Why would you want to? I realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but that's not all that great of a fish at all...

Were you talking about the nyassae or the tilapia?

and i'm located in mauritius, which forms part of the mascarene island group, near madagascar
that's where the dodo birds come from

The Tilapia. The Nyassae are amazing. Those Tilapia hybrids don't look so good....

I know but well, my other tank is not ready at this time and i just wanted to know if it would be possible to put them together temporarily
I'm definitely going to keep it a rift tank.I've already added the rocks and the sand and i'm about to get the peacocks soon
