So I found these weird worm looking things on my aquarium glass.

I asked some people in Montreal, and they said that it's baby snails. Unfortunately these are the same people who think that a silver arrowana can live in a 120G aquarium, so not a reliable source. Are these in fact baby snails, or something bad? If they are a bad thing, is scraping the glass enough, or do I need to treat the water?

They're not baby snails. More like detritus worms. Symptom of overfeeding and detritus buildup(Hence the name), but not harmful themselves.

Should I just scrape them off the glass? Or do I need to put something special in the water?

They are harmless just cut back on feeding and make sure you gravel vac substrate during wc's to reduce the numbers.

Like everyone has already said they are harmless.

I don’t know if anyone else has ever done this before, probably so but I’ve never seen it posted or anything.
I actually keep a tank just to produce these little critters.
Kinda like a worm culture, I harvest them and feed them to fry. They will actually gobble them down, they love them.
I’ve never had any problems doing this.
I just stir the substrate a little bit and get them floating up in the water column.
Take a fine mesh net and swish it around and catch a few then turn the net inside out and swish it in the fry tank.

At what size can fry do this? Sounds like a very easy way to feed them good food!

This is why I love MFK, always more and more interesting stuff to learn.

I knew them worms to be not harmful and can be food for small fish, but to actually culture them and feed to fry is neat.
