What are u guys opinions on emperor filters.I think they are great,

U got the bio wheel, and spray bar, plus powerful filtration.I have one emp 280 and im thinking about getting a emp 400 for my dovii tank.should i.

I have 4 Emp.400's, though I don't use them currently since I rebuilt my 2 AC500's.
I like the Emps. well enough, but they are noisier than the AC's and seem to always put micro bubbles in the tank, giving it a "foggy/cloudy" look.
I think they are made better as far as material used. They are not as fragile as the AC plastic. They take more width across the back as opposed to AC500's. 4 Emp.400's and 2 sets of canister tubes is really tight on a 6 foot tank.
I have 4 good back up filters in them if one of the current ones fail, but prefer the AC as a whole.

i like emp 400's but i hear AC's are pretty good too... as long as u keep the water level high they arent too loud, plus the bio wheel helps with the bio filtration as well as the blue screen for mech filtration

I like them but my biowheels barely move anymore. I slosh them in my tank water every WC and clean the plastic pieces that they rest in. I might try to replace the plastic pieces and see if that helps. Only AC's I have are the AC70 powerheads and I love em. Might purchase an AC filter for my 75 just to add to the filtration since everyone here seems to like them and the versatility of media use.

Love emperor 400's :) And I use them :) I also use AC110.
