Hello this is my first post although i have been a long time guest. i finally joined!. Just wondering what you guys feed your jardini's as mine only eats blood worm and does not seem very interested in anything else i have tryed beef hart, hariki floating pellets, white bait and crikets at 9inchs i would think that a couple of cubes of blood worm would not satisfy him or are they a high value food? sorry if my post is confusing im just very excited

i fed my jardini:superworm,mealworm,FD krills,MP,earthworm,crickets

Excellent, im sorry for my stupid questions but by shrimp do you mean prawns? and do you just defrost them and toss them in? or how do you introduce them to a new kind of food? and how would you store it?

I actually mean shrimp. Freeze em then run under water to thaw. I cut em up to feed other fish and the Arowana's just get what they can.

market prawns would work i feed mines that

maybe b.c its stressed, does it have tankmates? if it does probably there stressing him out

The best bet with Jars is to starve them for several days and then try a good pellet. Like any fish ,best to get them on a staple pellet. If it doesn't except them remove and try again the next day. Don't worry if it takes a while as they can go weeks without food. It will take the pellets eventually. A healthy jar won't starve itself to death. Try Hikari Massivore. A little expensive but worth it. Market prawns are fine, large earth worms, meal worms, freshwater fish fillets. Pellets should make up about 70-80% of its diet IMO.
