Well what do you guys have you wallago attus feeding on? I currently have mines on floating pellets, FD bloodworms, raw shrimp, and krill, and floating sticks and worms....

He also likes tilapia filets and currently mine is pushing the 27" mark. if any advice i can in keeping an attu is keep stress to a minimum, keep it fed well, and keep aro's out of his/her mouth if yours is going to be like mine tank mates are in general a bad idea they have a tendency to disappear. How often do you feed yours? mine right now will eat anywhere from 3-5 days a week and 10-15 jumbo shrimp per feeding.
attu's are slender fish unlike the leeri its said that they get thicker with age but from the pages on the internet it doesn't look like they get to thick just super long. mine does have visible teeth but they are still small. I don't know if you've been told about growth rate yet? I picked mine up when he was 10" and I have had mine roughly 18 months give or take and he's coming close to pushing 27" and he is in a 240. He really has not grown much in about the last 3 months either maybe an inch. So i would make sure you got a good foot print for the tank he's in.catfishlover106;1785373; said:does yours have visible teeth showing on the top and lower part of its mouths?
I would have to say that is a huge footprint for a monster tank.catfishlover106;1785921; said:yup...i was planning on a 12 or 11' x 6' x 4' but instead...i plan on having a larger footprint because of my attu...so it will be 12'x10'x5'....i hope this would be atleast the minimum...if not i hope they taste good lol
