Hey,
I know there has been allot of Xbox 360 vs PS3 threads and this isnt one, figured there are a fare few gamers on here, so why not tell us what your playing and give a quick reveiw of it.

Im currently playing lost planet 2 and far cry 2 on the Xbox 360.

Lost planet 2 is one the best games to play online with a bunch of mates.
I mostly play co-op and multyplayer. customize your charactor, unlock new weapons, noms de guerre, poses. Great fun and quite addictive. I give it a 9 out of 10

Far Cry 2 is a bit of a rough diamond in the world of gaming, you either love it or hate it and i love it. Ubisoft montrial did a great job on this unique open world fps, you can do what you want when you want and missions can be completed any number of ways. Don't want to do any missions? so dont, do some traveling, search for diomonds or casset tapes or do jobs for weapn traders in order to unlock new weapons its really up to you. I give it a 8 out of 10

cheers-

Darren.

I only game on my pc, I just cannot get into console games with the exception of playing them for a couple of hours at a friend's house to appease. I find the pc gaming experience a lot better, having more options on the keys than you would on a game controller/joystick. I find aiming in a fps game easier as well with a mouse as opposed to a gaming controller/joystick.

Anyhow, I play Battlefield 2 solely. FPS game with current realistic weapons you find on the actual battlefield these days. There are about 12 maps (huge), and users can assault on foot or hop in a tank or dune buggy and so on. For those that like air warfare, there are modern day jets and helicopters equipped with all the bells and whistles. Bf2 is just an incredibly realistic wartime fps game. I've been hooked on Bf2 for about 3 years and used to play Wolfenstein a lot before that, but Bf2 is where it's at for me. Fps games are just my thing. I would highly recommend Battlefield 2 to anyone looking for a real style modern warfare game... 9/10.

Hey cookie, i used to be a pc gamer too, one of my fav pc games was S.T.A.L.K.E.R shadow of chernobyl.

Its a big game, good story, loads of weapons, atmospheric, dark and there is always something new to see and do but........ its bugtacular, the bug testers for all 3 Stalker games need to find a new line of work as they suck. The Stalker games need severl patches to be playable but once it is its a great game and has an amazing modding community.

Not to take the thread off topic, but which do you prefer, console gaming or pc? Also, I noticed you are from Queensland, Australia, I hope things are getting better for your area and you weren't personally effected by the floods (which I'm sure is unlikely with the amount of flooding I saw on tv). It looked like a very bad situation for anyone even near Queensland.

I prefer console gaming mate, i spent several grand on a custom gaming pc and had nothing but trouble with it. Pc gaming aslo stressed me out, constant tweaking of setting to get games to look and play right and having to download and install patch after patch etc but there are still a few pc games i wouldnt mind playing every once in a while, too bad my pc's motherboard died recently lol.

As for the floods, it got close but thankfully didnt affect my suburb, the worst we got was a little water damage in some of the downstairs rooms rooms from heavy rain and a several hour power outage due to severe storms so i really can't complain considering so many fellow queenslanders lost everything and its not over yet as this is storm season and we are expecting king tides.:(

Back on topic :D

Other good pc games i used to play were company of heros antholigy- 4 out of ten and land of the dead, road to fidlers green- 8 out of ten as it was such a great game with a huge modding community. last time i played it was feb last year and the severs were still packed.

FEAR 1 and 2. - 7 and a half

Good to hear you dodged a bullet with the flood.

On Xbox I played Bad Company and would give that a 7/10, it would be 8/10 if on pc. The game graffix and player interaction was really good. Being able to blow away any wall, building, tree or object on the map with tanks was a really good aspect of game play I had not seen before. It gave hiding in a building from tanks a new gaming perspective, tanks would eventually get be able to get to you after a few shots just like in real life. Very cool game for console in my opinion.

Oh yeah, FC2, love it, so satisfying when things go your way, except when they dont you want to toss your monitor out the window in frustration.

Also theres to much commuting, there should be a fast travel option, like there is in games like oblivion.

I think there should be more variety on enemy's, and most weapons feel almost the same. Also I dont like the fact that everyone, EVERYONE in hte world is out to get you, and will shoot you on sight, even if you're doing a job for their faction.
