I had a nice male for about 2 years and then had to sell him when I moved. He was one of my favorite fish, and lived in a 90g by himself. Super-aggressive, couldn't keep anything with him. Very personable.

They are a cross of multiple fish. One of the most common cross that is the start of creating RT or SRT is with a Carpintis and a KKP. I've heard people uses Mammon(KKP with a nuchal hump like FH). After crossing with a KKP, they cross one of the fertile offspring into another KKP. Then they can spread out into different varieties of fish out there to reduce the genetic deformation that can cause from crossing with a KKP too much. And crossing too much of the KKP or certain may change the look of your offspring because the genetic is too strong into the fish. Red devil may be one of the fish that use to cross with it. But I've heard from breeders overseas who crosses SRT or RT with a very red FH to bring out the color some more.
In the FH world, if you can find a SRT with a nuchal hump/kok like a FH. And especially being a master piece, then it is game over for any FH out there.
