what are your opinions on rubberlips plecos

i just bought a 4" rubberlips pleco. How are they at algae eating compared to other plecos like bushynoses and stuff.

They are excellent algae grazers. As good as BN in my opinion and
likes cooler water.

awesome fish dude. clean really well, arnet territorial, and stay small.
had one for a few years, and he was awesome.

Great for keeping the glass clean. Always stay in the open Move around in daylight. Great liottle pleco.

i noticed i said rubberlips but also called rubbernose aswell but this is what i have noticed. i got him for my 20 long with an algae problem and in 2 days he knocked out id say a good 75% of the algae.

yes and they stay pretty small so its good for planted tanks~

I have one with a Bristlenose, Sailfin, Whiptail, and a Clown. His name is Houndini, I'll go for 2 or 3 weeks and never see him and one day he'll pop up within a few minutes he's gone.

On a side not, Rubberlips are the only Plecos my Gar's ever mess with. They killed the first one I had in their which is my fault I believe... I released him the same time I released some feeders but this second one I've seen in my Spotted's mouth luckily there made of steel.
