What are your scientific or educational interests?

I always find many members of MFK to have secondary fields wherein they are good at. I found some to be highly knowledgeable in those fields. Surely there is a topic for every one of us that we have found interesting and invested many hours into research to suffice our curiosity. So what piques your interest?

I don't know if it really counts as an interest anymore since I've made a career out of it, but I work in the avionics field, and have worked with all aspect of components that fly in military aircraft from cargo planes, to fighter jets, to tankers, to the most feared bombers to have ever existed.
