What are peoples thoughts on thses internal filters ? i have never used one befor and thought it would be best to get a little heads up from people who know and use them ? i'm considering getting one for my 30gal

I've always used Eheim models and never had any problem with them.

It's a eheim aquaball filter !

dan ive never seen one of these are they new? to be honest and im a big eheim fan they look cheap. i guess the key is that a filter moves water from one place to another efficiently and quietly

Howdy,

I've never seen them or heard of them, but as a loyal Eheim customer and based on brand reputation, you can't go wrong getting Eheim products. Looks like a filter for inside the fish tank. I am more in favor of cansters: You can pack them with the media you like best.

As far as i know they only make these filters for small aquariums upto "guessing" 50gal max the one i'm after is for a 35gal they are quite cheap the one i want is only £17 on ebay brand new i've seen them on a web site for £24 brand newso CHEAP... Yeah !

Most of you sem to have not seen them befor i must admit ... I haven't either.

But like all you i do trust eheim.

For how much they they are they are WELL woroth the money, the good thing is one power head (grey ball) will do the max size tank and the minnimum tank and all you have to do is add an extra "basket" to the bottom as they just click on and it will do that bit more.

never seen one before either and i swear by ehiem but it looks a little complex for what it is have you looked at the fluval 3 plus i huge sponge filter and it will work laying down great for turtle or rept tanks that need some water i'm assuming thats what your doing? anyways have a look nice unit.

i contemplated getting 2 of them but i went with 2 fluval 4 plus's as ther have a better gph rate and were cheaper at £26 each
