Hi I have a tank that is 530gl and it is glass sides with plywood with fiberglass bottom. I have done a little repair on the bottom with fiberglass and now need to seal it. there is silicone where the glass meets the wood I do not want to peel up the silicone it is almost new. is there any thing I could paint on the whole bottom to seal it? Or do I have to take all the silicone off and seal it then resilicone it.

You can buy paint which is specially formulated to cover silicone. You can then go over the painted silicone with what ever you want and it will bond.
