I am looking to start buying some books focusing on keeping fish, different species, filtration, lighting.....etc. What should I have?

The good ones. J/K

I like the baensch atlases and the axelrod bibles. But any book is going to have discrepancies. My advice is to read them before buying them to be sure they have what you're looking for.

I have found books published by TFH Publications have a fountain of quality books availible. As was suggested by knifegill, read through them and be sure they have the information in them you want and need. You can't judge a book by it's cover, so it helps to read it.

i get more info from this site then I ever did from any book...put a keyword in search and you get tons of great "real world" info instead of stuff from a book

Agree 100%, but it's difficult bringing the laptop into the potty.
