I currently use eheim jager but for my next heater I would like something with a bit of a smaller profile (to hide better).

Neo therms come to mind but since i need 300W it would be 2 150W heaters and i just think it would look like too much equipment.

I also would like a heater than I can put horizontally.

Any thoughts?

Honestly, I've been using Aqueon Pros for years and have never had a problem with them; would definitely recommend them.

Theyre all crap. I had eheim jager and within a couple months both developed condensation, I had a finnex that busted on me within a year and their customer service sucked. I also had several aqueon pro heaters that are small and durable but leaked voltage into my tank.

At the end I just stuck with the aqueon pro and rancor controller. Aqueon pro have an awesome warranty. I sent a copy of my receipt for 3 heaters due to voltage leakage (2 were 2011 and 1 was 2016) and they shipped me 3 brand new ones. I just make sure to have a grounding wire in the tank now.

They're all crap and I stopped using heater some years ago and my fish seem doesn't give a damn about not having a heater, they seem healthier though LOL (water summer temp around 78F~84F, winter as low as 60F~65F and in spring around 70F~74F that's how my house temp yearly).

What kind of fish do you have?
