What Brand of Pellet Food

What brand of pellet food do you guys & gals recommend for Rift Lake Cichlids specifically Peacock & Hap Species. Imperial Tropicals which I will be dealing with sells their own brand of pellet. Wondering if this is a good product or there is something better out there. Thanks

Most will recommend New Life Spectrum Cichlid pellet food.

I agree with the NLS, it is what I use, but Northfin is also a good food if you prefer it.

Over the last 15 years I have gone with the NLS, but switching often to Northfin with just as good results.

That's all every fish in my tanks ate, from fry/juvenile up, including fish classified as herbivores, omnivores, and carnivores. I asked the manufacturer about coming up with an algae based food for several years, and he finally came out with one a number of years back. Good stuff, I feed that now as well.
