What bug is this with red abdomen

Dont know if the kids are adding to my tank but its stuck on the return pump .


Kids where on a bug hunt today along with a trip the to store to get some catfish and some plants so not sure if its the kids or the store good or bad .

Now i dont know who to blame they are Scantius aegyptius http://cisr.ucr.edu/red_bug.html . So i gess they are around for this time of the year. Could have walked in and jumped into my sump or the kids could have added him.

Not much info if he would make a good snack for my new fish so il just end his life as hes not native.
