What bugs do you feed?

Whenever I catch a fly (Quick hands) I just plop it in with my angles (Live) and they take it in one go, chew it up and blow it back out in 18 peices. Then my tetras clean it up.

What BUGS do you feed your fish?

I feed flies, crickets, earthworms, moths, crane flies, wax worms, mealworms, fruit flies, and i have tried a slug once with my male convict and he loved it but i dont reccomend this because of potential toxins, and it makes a mess.

I've fed Blaptica dubia a couple times and both my cichlids do they same thing as yours when they eat them.

beetles/ pincher bugs
and what ever else i can find like garden spiders and lizards

Hey bsixxx have you ever fed your fish salamanders? I am always finding them in the garden and my bullfrog enjoys them but can my fish consume them safely?

I think salamanders carry some kind of toxin/potion/magic spell that would be potentially harmful to fish.

never fed them salamanders, but i have fed them anole lizards and other types of lizars that i catch in my backyard

I feed crickets, earthworms, meal worms and some type of grasshopper lookin thing that makes alot of damn noise. My cats and fish make short work of them. They are green but aren't grasshoppers.
