i've got a thirty gallon tank with a dempsey and red devil and a few bottom dwellers any suggestions on a good bulb that won't lighten up my fish but will really show their colors good..

My favorite standard watt bulb is the Triton. I also Like the Actinic WHite From URI (Ultra Violet resorce) & G.E.'s "Aqua Rays" look nice too.

Howdy,

you got any plants in there, or just fish?

If you have the old incandesant fixtures try aqualux.

Welcome to MFK's kt2149, Personally i love the NAN lights... they make your fishes show their vibrant colors... especially the red color. They come in 24"- 36"- 48" and they are also submersible.
