Hey everybody,

As some of you may know I have a 50 gallon coner tank. Is thier any ciclids that I can sucsufully breed in this type of tank? The only inhabidants are currently 2 kissing gouramis....the tank is still cycling (Long story). Well after the tank is done cycling what kinds of ciclids can I breed/any site with specie list and breeding tips?

I have one stock idea for this tank...but I want to also see if this maybe a nice ciclid tank....and yes I know I've been spelling "cichlid" wrong this whole time...too lazy to fix it :)

Thanks.

Im stuck on the same page bro...
I like convict cichlids but where i live there is no demand for them so i would have nowhere to sell the fry to.

Convict cichlids are very easy to breed and worth a shot

Are you interested in SA, CA, African? There are likely over a hundred species of cichlids that could be bred in that tank. It depends on what your tap water is like, what kind of fish you want to work with, how easy or hard you want it to be, etc.
Feel free to PM me if you want, I'm keeping/kept more species of small cichlids than the average MFKer and can give you plenty of ideas and advice.
