hey guys sorry for posting here and not in the illness bit but i thought more people would read it here. i just found him like this now. he's 7inch and 2 years old. he's been a bit drowzy the past 3 days,havn't seen him eating and was ok this morning ( 13hours ago) just spotted this now. did water change yesterday water is near perfect.

yeah i'm so upset hes my mini monster and i could lose him ugh i have no idea what to do....never seen anything like this before.
 
Sorry I wish I knew what to do did you add salt and raise the temp and aeration?
 
It has camallamus worms Rachel its an internal parasite, which should either be treated with medicated food or a general parasite medication

(Malachite Green and Formalin, Parasite Clear, Rid Ich, Coppersafe, or any others). If you use Malachite Green, be VERY careful with your dosing-- too much can kill fish considerably faster than the parasite.
 
ok setting up the med tank as we speak will treat...

i have no salt..... mathelyne blue or internal parasite meds? which one
 
internal parasite meds then, didnt know it was that late sorry. As soon as you can though go to any saltwater store and get some Metronidazole SeaChem has it.
