I have quite a few books that I can stand to get rid of and I wouldn't mind donating them to somone or somewhere but I'm not sure to whom...Our illustrious mayor already seems hellbent on closing down our libraries so no point in trying to unload them there.Just looking for ideas on what to do with them....

Ha ha..I remember someone had put out a big open box full of books for trash pickup.I stopped and looked through them and passers by were looking at me like I was crazy like,"What is he doing looking at books?"
you don't have resell book stores? my city is loaded with them and they'll give you cash or credit for your used books and allow you to buy their books. i usually get 2-4 bucks books per book and use them to buy their used books which are priced 4-12 books for paper back

i would not recommend buying any used copies of pornographic books anyways. the things people can do with one hand on their book. they should all be burnt instead of traded in
