Anything and everything. I would give it some veggies as well, but I would definitely move this out of the lounge. Try posting in a more related forum, you will have much better answers :)

Shrimp will help bring out the color thanks to carotine. dew worms/ nightcrawlers if you want more live food.. potatoes and zucchini are great just make sure there are no pesticides.. so i would suggest if you have a garden use those or try to get some from someone you know doesn't use pesticides. Also if you want i do this with my RBP's put cichlid sticks in their food.. like cut out a hole and stuff the stick in it so they get used to eating pellets.

I fed mine a mix of peas, hikari cichlid gold, grapes, veggie cichlid pellets, etc. They like nuts too from what I've heard, brazil nuts they love. They're mainly vegetarian, so keep that in mind.

They love the big hikari gold cichlid pellets(red bag)...they like ghost shrimp, guppies and I fed mine night crawlers(the kind you buy for fishn)...Id hold em at the top and they would come up and snatch it out of my hand...took a while at first but they did. The whole worm...they were eatin them since about 3''. FIsh grow super fast w/ a good diet.

Mine eats, shrimp, krill, hikari cichlid gold, beefheart, bloodworms, earthworms, an occasional feeder...in other words they will eat just about anything.
