Yeah, no feeders are necessary. If you really want to feed feeder fish, get a quarantine tank and treat for diseases over several weeks to ensure they are parasite free, or breed your own feeders with something like convicts.
I wouldn't use feeders though. Use a staple of a quality pellet, with a supplement of frozen foods such as shrimp or tilapia.
I feed mine Hikari Gold and prawns! All my cichlids love them! I also agree with Xinchavoc and Angler about the feeder situation, it's not really necessary and seems a lot of hassle to make sure that the feeders are disease and parasite free!
GET YOURSELF SOME RED JEWELS GUPPIES AND CONVICTS AND LET THEM BREED AT WILL THEN JUST SCOOP OUT THE JUVIES AS NEEDED. I ALSO GIVE MINE SALAMANDERS I CATCH IN THE WOODS, EATHWORMS, SLUGS, CRICKETS, GRASSHOPPERS AND THEY LOVE STINKBUGS!!! AS PREDATORS THESE GUYS LOVE TO HUNT. WHAT THEY WONT EAT TODAY WONT LAST LONG LOL!
