Hey Im trying to mix up my Lima's diet. He eats bloodworms and Frozen Krill now and is getting big enough that blood worms don't feel him up. Is it safe to feed shrimp and pieces of fish filet from the grocery store? I cant get him to eat any pellet food he always spits it up? any other soft meaty food suggestions? Thanks!

Yeah, grocery store food is perfectly fine and way cheaper to. Maybe also give him an occasional frozen silverside or two.
Tilapia and raw market shrimp. Smelt and earthworms.

Mine always relished any kind of fleshy aquatic foods, like you said. I'd not go over 50% on shrimp and other crustaceans as this would result in vitamin B1 deficiency.
I feed my RTC Basa, and shrimp, doesn't like Tilapia and won't touch Masivore pellets, oh and mine likes seaweed sheets.
RTC? Typo? Neat observations though on your fish's diet. If starved even a bit it will take mascivore and tilapia. It is perhaps spoiled a bit
I don't think you are talking about LSN as these would never take any "weeds".
