I am wondering what some good foods are for oscars? right now i am feeding them blood worms. Should i feed them different types of food each day? THX

They should be fed a Pelet food for 60% of their diet, that should be their MAIN food, and everything else are prety much snacks. I feed my O, Omega one pelets, hikari staple pelets, tetramin jumbo sticks, Freezdried JUMBO krill, meal worms, crickets, earth worms, nightcrawlers, shelled peas, oranges, bananna, and the occasional moth that I catch, grasshoppers.....ect. Hope this Helps!!!

As much variety as possible.A good pellet food half the time, then earthworms crikets shrimp or krill, fresh fish like salmon or haddock.peas carrots zuchinni or spirulena at least weekly.

For the salmon and haddock store bought or what, and earth worms moths grasshoppers i was told not to feed them that cause it could give them desises.

i have been my fish bugs of all typs for years with no problems thats what they eat in nature

You can feed them pretty much anything, I like to give mine mealworms and crickets, as well as their pellets (mostly pellets however). I'd also suggest feeding smaller oscars flakes, that's what I'm doing to grow out my red :)

they should have pellets make up most of their diet they eat beefheart krill peas i even feed mine dog food! he loves it and makes them grow very fast
