Hello!
I just want to know, what can I put in my circular 8 ft tank? I want it to be a shark or a saltwater ray in order to build up some experience to keep a blacktip reef shark. Any bamboo or other type of shark you suggest? Or any saltwater ray? And perhaps any tank mates for what you suggest?

In a ORV shark tank (active swimming sharks), I like to suggest 'filler' fish that are cheap and you don't mind losing. Grunts, damsels etc...
In a benthic shark tank (sharks resting on the bottom), get other predatory fish or fish that won't graze or pick at the sharks.

Stingrays make great tank mates.

Well - for an 8ft circular pond - the best sharks would be the benthic sharks, and there are alot of choices.

For a pond that size - most Bamboos would be great, also you could go with most epaulettes, and the Atelomycterus catsharks. Or even some of the smaller wobbegong species like the Ward's/Northern Wobbie.Or another option - if you have the ability to get them would be the Short-tailed Nurse Shark.

As for rays - the best option would be the round stingrays.
