my friend bred his blue crayfish and i took 3 for my 40. its just them and a ghost shrimp and 8 small gold fish in there now. are they agressive to the point where theyd attack other fish. or if not what do some people have their crayfish with

crayfish tend to be semi-agressive, but it depends on the species. In general, they are only a danger to small/slow fish who spend time near the tank bottom and or have long fins. Hope this helps

Crayfish seem to attack eels, catfish , goldfish, koi or any slow moving fish. My friends cray destroyed a 6 inch minnow when it was 3 and a half inches long. although i had small ones with a pictus and it didnt touch it. it depends on the species. if yours shows agression you may want to put fast top or mid level swimmers. hope that helps
i havent lost a goldfish yet, but one of the three i guess was shedding or something. and some how lost some legs. but after waking up the next morning and seeing no cray fish or left over shedding i think the two killed and ate him so i wont be putting anything in there anytime soon lollpenn31;4042417; said:
