What car would you buy?

so im looking for my next car and if all falls into place ill be buying one of these for some fun...

Mazda RX8
Subaru STI


these are the 2 cars im toying around with now... both can be found relatively cheap used...STI i can get a good deal on in the next year or 2 when my buddy sells his allready hooked up nicely and he drives like a 90 year old woman...

RX8 has alot of after market potential....

i want something fast and sporty i love to drift so FWD is out of the question.... i was also toying with the notion of a 240 sx if i can find a nice one for a good deal....


any other sudjestions? input please
 
The STi will have far more potential. Factory AWD and turbo is hard to beat. On the flip side, the RX8 is one of the most structurally balanced cars on the market, as well as being a little more refined interior wise. But you can't just increase boost for more power on it's NA rotary as you can with the STi. I'd be in the Sooby.
 
RX8 is seriously underpowered in the torque department

RX8, i know quite a few STI owners that all have the same problem with the 3rd cylender and agree the boxer 4 engine blows ..... but i mean thats my opinion, im not a japanese department kinda guy.. i stay american....
 
RX8 has the aftermarket potential... stock both cars are lacking
